The Glennallan Panthers visited Unalaska over the weekend, playing games Friday and Saturday evening against both the boys' and girls' Raider teams.
Friday games started with the boys' competition. The Raiders defeated the Panthers 59-29. On Saturday, the Raider boys had a tight 18-17 lead at half time; but they pulled away in the second half, winning with a comfortable lead 57-29.
Prior to the girls’ game, seniors Sue Yoon and AlannaKochuten were honored by their coach and teammates. Yoon was the high scorer for the Unalaska Lady Raiders Friday evening, but the team lost to the visitors 28-55 on Friday and 26-54 on Saturday.
Weekend home games are in the works but nothing is definite as of now.
