The 5th/6th Department selected Luc Sevilla as  Student of the Week  (February 1-5, 2016)  for the following reasons:

Luc is an excellent addition to our classroom! He is a hard worker and always has his homework completed on time. He works well in any partnership and leads by example. He uses his time well in class and is very organized. Luc volunteers during group discussions and is quick to offer a helping hand! Keep it up, Luc! ~Ms. Wood, 6th Grade Teacher

UCSD Student of the Week: Leah Bacalso

The Junior High Department selected Leah Bacalso as Student of the Week (January 25-29, 2016) for the following reasons:

Leah Bacalso has become an outstanding young student. She takes pride in her daily work and tries to do the best at everything she does. She is a joy to work with in class and is always willing to help out when asked to do so. Keep up the good work Leah, it will pay off in the future. ~Mr. Gibson, Science Teacher

The High School Department selected Donnie Lane as  Student of the Week (January 18-22, 2016) for the following reasons:

Donnie Lane is having a great senior year in band. He leads his peers through example, always paying attention and doing his best. He has long been a loyal band member, and the improvement he's made throughout the years is incredible. It is wonderful having leaders like Donnie in class. Keep it up, Donnie! ~Ms. McNamara, Music Teacher
