As a candidate for Mayor I am concerned, as many voters are, that the City will be in a dire funding situation for future maintenance and construction in the next few years. Many projects in the past five years have been over budget.  Now, as we have seen, the City is raising the utility rates to pay for these services. The City of Unalaska needs a straight forward plan for the future; this is the Council’s responsibility in order to get what is needed and deserved for the residents of Unalaska.
